First Sponge Bath

5 days oldShe still has her cord so she got a sponge bath. It was fun although she didn't think so. though.

SOOO precious!!!!
Mckenna is SOOOO adorable, I love to sit and stare at her. I hold her all day - newborns can't be spoiled, so why not. She usually eats every 2 hours - sometimes more during the night (cause she'll fall asleep) and occasionally every 3 hours (twice so far). She had newborn jaundice, but resolved by Saturday. She has made her first appearance to Walmart - and enjoyed it of course.
Happy Easter Mckenna
Easter present from Mimi
A new life beginning in this world and one life beginning in heaven. My grandfather, Russell Campbell Younkins passed away on Friday, March 21. He was 85 years old. It was a joy growing up with him and my gram as our neighbors. I have many happy memories. I love you pap!

And then there were three!

Labor was fast but rough. 4 hours total from when they started the pitocin til mckenna was born! My highest BP was 164/118! Craziness. I ended up having mild preeclampsia, so I had to be put on the dreaded Magnesium Sulfate. It made me feel "eh". I didn't get up and feeling good until Wed around 4pm. We went home Thursday. It was great to be home.

37 weeks
We decided to take modeling pictures. It was a lot of fun and way cheaper than going to a professional.

My blood pressure has been high since wed feb 27. I was put on modified bedrest and not allowed to return to work. I'm not too happy about this because it actually starts my maternity leave which is not fair. Depending on when I deliver, depends on how long/short of a time I get off to spend time with Mckenna. So... me and her had a talk... and she should be on her way out this week. I'm 37 weeks which is full term, so all is well. here is my 36 week pic.

Week 27....only 86 more days!

Greetings and Salutations all! I don't really know how many people have been looking at this but you can see the progression of how much bigger Whitney has been getting. The baby is very active and is always kicking or moving around. She has kept Whitney up at times at night, I think she is getting her days and nights confused. Oh well I guess soon enough it will be daddy's turn to be up in the middle of the nights! We are excited and can't wait but we haven't really even started getting her room ready! Guess we should start on that soon. Well here are a few pictures that we just took on Christmas night, I am a few days behind in posting them so the next pictures probably won't be to far behind.
